New Greater Sydney Tourism Partnership Funding Program

Tourism NSW has launched a $2.7 million Greater Sydney Tourism Partnership Funding Program which aims to promote tourism destinations and events within the Greater Sydney metropolitan area. The program offers all 37 councils, together with industry and event organisers, funding support for cooperative destination marketing campaigns and for event promotion.

Attracting the Youth Market

Tourism NSW has produced a publication called Sydney - travel, work, study, play which outlines its approach to attract young international visitors aged between 20 to 34 to travel, work and study in Sydney and NSW. Youth is an important market for NSW comprising 37 per cent of total inbound international visitor arrivals to the State last year.
