100 Years of NSW Tourism

In May 1905 the NSW Department of Intelligence established a State Tourism Bureau. Tourism NSW and its predecessors have since been integral to the spectacular growth in tourism within the state.

To celebrate a century of tourism, Tourism NSW produced a website in 2005 which provides an historical account of the New South Wales tourism industry through the eyes of the state government’s tourism department.
