Black Tie Gala Dinner, LA

The Black Tie Gala Dinner in LA kicked off the official start of Australia Week.  This year’s honourees were Kylie Minogue and Phillip Noyce.  Attendees included prominent Australian and American film and business executives, senior Australian officials, producers, directors and actors including many American-based Australian actors. 

Performers such as Olivia Newton-John, Christine Anu, Richard Walley, The Pembroke Orchestra and The Qantas Choir entertained guests.  An Australian style menu was designed and prepared by Australia’s very own Chef Neil Perry and world renowned chef Wolfgang Puck.
