On a national and state level, Business Tourism is seen as an important niche market, and is one of the fastest growing high yield sectors of the tourism industry. This segment of the tourism industry has also been referred to as Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE).

Business Tourism encompasses a range of business-related tourism as well as business events.
