Country NSW

This diverse region has many natural attractions including national parks, fascinating pioneer-era history, a comprehensive calendar of cultural events, and is peppered throughout with museums and galleries.

The Country NSW zone extends from the Queensland border south to the Murray River. It is edged in the east by the Great Dividing Range and in the west by the Outback zone. A salient feature of a visit to Country NSW is meeting the locals and sampling the country lifestyle.

Tourism NSW works with the following Regional Tourism Organisations within this zone: New England North West, Hunter, Upper Hunter, Central NSW, Capital Country, Riverina and The Murray.

Target source markets for Country NSW include Sydney, regional NSW, Victoria and South Queensland.
