Sydney & NSW at G'Day USA: Australia Week

G’Day USA is a festival of events promoting Australian culture, business and tourism in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York from 13-23 January.
The 2009 event, now in its sixth year, extended to San Francisco for the first time, and includes some 22 events showcasing the best of Sydney and Australia’s trade and investment, food and wine, film, arts, fashion, lifestyle, Indigenous culture and tourism.
Despite the current economic downturn, the Tourism Forecasting Committee predicted that travel from the US to Australia would increase slightly in 2009 as a result of extra air capacity.
