These profiles have been developed to assist Local Government Areas in regional New South Wales.
 
The Profiles provide information on visitors and include State and National data providing comparisons to highlight similarities and/or differences to assist with industry growth opportunities, industry and Government decision making.

Destination Visitor Surveys

Tourism Research Australia manages the Destination Visitor Survey program with input from the State Tourism Organisations, local tourism organisations and/or local councils.

The Destination Visitor Surveys provide the opportunity for regional tourism destinations to undertake research specific to needs at the local or regional level.  The research gathered assists with informed decision making to support growth of sustainable tourism products, address challenges and identify initiatives that fully utilise local tourism resources.
