Since 2007 world-famous children’s entertainers, The Wiggles, have worked with Tourism NSW on campaigns to promote Sydney in the United Kingdom. The Wiggles members are from Sydney and are admired around the world which makes them perfect representatives for the city.
Regional Tourism Organisations (RTOs)
Tourism NSW works in partnership with individual Regional Tourism Organisations on a range of marketing and development initiatives.
Forum of Regional Tourism Organisations (FORTO)
FORTO is the industry body representing the 13 Regional Tourism Organisations in NSW. FORTO was established by the RTOs to guide and facilitate capacity building and to coordinate regional tourism development and RTO marketing activities.
Regional Tourism Partnership Program
The Regional Tourism Partnership Program has been developed by Tourism NSW and FORTO as part of the NSW Tourism Strategy. The program includes funding allocation to Regional Tourism Organisations for capacity and demand building.
