Trade Events & Sales Missions

In Australia

ATE

The Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) is Australia's premier tourism trade event and the largest international travel trade show in the Southern Hemisphere. It provides a forum for Australian Tourism businesses to show their products, make overseas contacts and negotiate deals. International industry counterparts get an opportunity to meet and greet and see the products and destinations they will be selling to their market. ATE 2009 will be held in Melbourne from 13 - 19 June 2009.

ATEC Symposium

The next Australian Tourism Export Council Symposium is being held from 28 April to 1 May 2009 at the Darwin Convention Centre. The ATEC Symposium is Australia’s largest international tourism trade conference, bringing together hundreds of suppliers of Australian tourism product and global travel brokers. Staff from Tourism NSW and NSW tourism businesses participate in workshop sessions of face-to-face appointments with inbound tourism operators. The appointments build relationships, generate new business and enhance awareness of NSW destinations. The Symposium also includes a plenary session, market stream sessions, the Backpacker Conference and more.
